MD or DO degree, ABFM board certified, Texas Medical License current or eligible, DPS eligible.

Specific Job Related Duties
This faculty will have 50% clinical effort and 50% administrative effort, 40% administration effort, as the Family Medicine Residency Associate Program Director and 10% as the Island East Medical Director. As the Family Medicine Residency Associate Program Director, this physician will assist the FM Residency Program Director and residency leadership in the management of an accredited residency program of 30 residents. He/she will practice at the Island East Clinic (PCP). As the Island East Medical Director this physician will coordinate, direct and evaluate all aspects of patient care rendered by the licensed independent providers (faculty, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) staff in the assigned Service area.
Current valid/unrestricted Texas Medical License
