The University of Texas Medical Branch Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care Services (NIGHTS) in Galveston, Texas

Min Qualifications

Graduation from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy, or completion of the associate degree equivalency, and successful passage of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) exam. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within one (1) year of employment. Must maintain credentials with the NBRC as well as licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the Texas Department of State Health Services. Current BLS and ACLS.


Provides competent basic and specialty respiratory care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and individualizing care to meet unique patient needs.

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience

This position is a band code PC14

Work Schedule

This position is working 3 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
