The University of Texas Medical Branch Nursing Program Coordinator - Electrophysiological Lab in Galveston, Texas

Min Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing and current licensure or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas are required. The equivalent of four years RN experience, including two years progressive management experience is required (i.e. Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor). Certification appropriate to specialty required.


The Nursing Program Coordinator is accountable for the effective, strategic planning and the personnel, operational, and financial management of a focused clinical or support program to ensure optimal quality, cost, and service outcomes. In a clinical program, the coordinator has 24-hour accountability for patient care delivery.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $66,842/yr - $106,948/yr commensurate with experience.

The pay band for this position is NS23

Specific Job Related Duties

In this role, you will be responsible for the following

  • Managing different programs such as TAVR and Watchman
  • Work collaborative with the physicians such as Cardiologist and Ct Surgeons
  • Coordinating, managing and scheduling of patients appointments
  • Assessing and enrolling patients to the program
  • Submit data to a National registry and managing outcome
  • Travelling involve between campus and clinic.

Preferred License/Certificate

  • ACLS
  • CCRN or other related certification

Preferred Work Experience

Experience in acute care or cardiology preferred
