Candidates should be a graduate of an approved medical school, have completed an approved residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery, be Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery and have a Texas Medical license without restrictions.
$60,000 to 70,000 per year
Specific Job Related Duties
This Instructor position is intended for a one-year orthpaedic surgery fellowship. The fellow hired will receive advanced training in foot and ankle orthopaedics, and will participate in the educational and scholarly activities of the Department. Educational activities could include teaching or mentoring lower level residents or medical students and participation in Grand Rounds. Scholarly activities could include participation in either basic research (laboratory) or clinical research, and publication of scientific articles. The fellow will participate in the call schedule and bill for non-foot and ankle related orthopaedic care.
