Min Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent. 3 years related experience. JOB DESCRIPTION: To perform a wide variety of professional duties in the management of all medical and House Staff programs. Salary Range

$40,080 - $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Specific Job Related Duties

  • Provides direction and support for the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Leadership
  • Assists with annual recruitment process of new residents. Scheduling interviews, preparing itineraries, setting up and maintaining all files, procuring accomodations for applicants and meals through vendors
  • Assists with all aspects of the orientation process for new incoming residents
  • Coordinates all forms, surveys, and questionnaires for the program
  • Maintains and enters data into New Innovations
  • Uploading reporting documents into New Innovations
  • Track elective evaluations and send reminders to faculty to complete evaluations
  • Processes all requirements for residents, i.e., risk management, ACLS, employee health and exams
  • Creates and tracks block schedules for residents and their evaluating staff through the use of Amion and New Innovations whereby assisting in the evaluation of each resident for program requirements
  • Coordinates resident travel arrangements for domestic and foreign travel; submits appropriate travel authorization forms and reimbursements
  • Attends required meetings of the Clinical Competency Committee to evaluate all residents semi-annually and annually. Assists in completing a summary of evaluations which must be composed on each resident and distributed.
  • Orders supplies and processes vendor payments using PeopleSoft
  • Back-up to Coordinator I
  • Post financial transactions to accounts or ledgers
  • Supports the Program Manager
  • Assists with various projects as assigned by Program Manager
  • Performs related duties as required

Preferred Skill/Competency

  • Proficient with PeopleSoft Financials
  • Good command of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiar with MyUTMB
  • Familiar with ERAS, and New Innovations, Kronos
  • ACGME, Interview Broker
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Work Experience

  • Previous experience as a coordinator in a residency or fellowship training program office
  • UTMB experience
