Min Qualifications

The successful applicant must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and board certified or board eligible in Forensic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Texas medical licensure is required.

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience

Specific Job Related Duties

Primary responsbilities include but not limited to, provide autopsy services and views.

Perform field investigations, attend court appearances as needed and provide autopsy reports to all counties served by the Medical Examiners Office (Galveston, Fort Bend, Matagorda) in a timely manner.

Supervise residents, particpate in intra-and-interdepartmental conferences and committees.
