Salary Range

Specific Job Related Duties

  • Maintain an extramural funded independent research program

  • Participate in teaching of medical and graduate education and training investigators in theareas of neurodegenerative disease and other disorders of the nervous system

  • Partner with established biomedical researchers in a highly collaborative biomedical researchcommunity to foster mutual scientific goals

  • Build translational research programs

  • Participate in committees which serve the Department, and the University

Preferred Skill/Competency

  • Ability to collaborate within a team of researchers in a translational and basic science researchsetting

  • Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken

Preferred Work Experience

  • Record of scientification accomplishment with consistent high level productivity of peer reviewed publications

  • Ability to collaborate across scientific disciplines

  • Strong teaching record and mentoring of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
