Min Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with current license to practice professional nursing in Texas. Two years of RN experience in providing nursing care to similar (in age and specialty) patient populations.


Proficient Clinician. Provides proficient, age specific, developmentally and specialty appropriate nursing care by applying specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patient¿s/families in accordance with legal, hospital, practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of Texas. Readily assumes leadership responsibilities and functions autonomously in leadership roles.

Specific Job Related Duties

From $54,960.00 to $82,440.00 annually. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.

NC III-OP title requires 2 years or more of RN experience. Applicants with less experience will be considered for an NC I-OP or NC II-OP title; salary will be commensurate with years of relevant work experience.

Closing Statement

Work environment is located within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center. Security clearance is required. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
