Specific Job Related Duties
The successful candidate will coordinate the design, optimization, conduct and application of cellular signaling assays to move new chemical entities through screening, maintain molecule databases, actualize patent applications, and organize interactions across campus, industry and NIH.
The candidate will be experienced in drug discovery and translational research and will serve as a coordinator in amplifying the cross-institutional efforts through consistent communication and organization of efforts.
Candidate will conduct innovative scientific investigation consistent with the mission of molecular therapeutics and drug discovery initiatives in the CAR and across campus. This fully-trained scientist will be committed to the discovery of innovative biomedical and health knowledge leading to increasingly effective care and will conduct and publish high quality research findings and write/fund grants to support research in this arena.
Individual must possess strong written and verbal communications expertise, demonstrated initiative, leadership, exceptional project management and interpersonal skills.
