JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager, Project Development and Support – AE will provide direct support to the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. The Manager will analyze, document, facilitate, create, implement, and evaluate projects in a structured fashion to ensure each project is completed in a timely, thorough, and appropriate manner while meeting pre-defined objectives. In addition, the Manager is responsible for providing data analysis and consultation to support operational activities for the Academic Enterprise.

Salary Range

$65,385 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Specific Job Related Duties

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

  • Provides project management support
  • Acts as a team leader and facilitator on project teams
  • Facilitates the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of Academic Enterprise goals
  • Develops and administers specific tools and methods for management of goals, projects, and tasks to ensure organizational effectiveness
  • Demonstrates a high level of productivity and dependability
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in dealing with staff at all levels of the institution
  • Ability to function effectively in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Ability to develop teams and work effectively with groups
  • Coordinates data needs for COO to facilitate efficient, timely decision making
  • Provides leadership to varying levels of staff to accomplish defined objectives
  • Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of current and future strategies/projects, business plans, and policies related to the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives
  • Serves as a facilitator and/or subject matter expert in meetings related to Academic Enterprise planning and operations
  • Extracts data from various systems for complex analysis
  • Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance
