Min Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in scientific field or equivalent and two years related experience.

Job Description:

Works with the Principal Investigator, study team and senior department administration to assure research project budgets and schedules are executed in a timely manner.

Salary Range

$24.19 - $30.24 per hour, commensurate with experience.

This position is in the pay band code: CS13.

Specific Job Related Duties

The employee will manage resources through interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes. They will serve as an educator, clinical resource, school liason and interpreter for Patient Navigators, patients and families.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Undergo 2 weeks of training at UTMB & complete required internal certification Monitor the overall progreess of the project at each site and report to the PI each week. Counsel parents and adolescents about the importance and safety of the HPV vaccination Assist the PI with hiring of personnel. Train the patient navigators. Collaborate with UTMB and non-UTMB (county or school) clinics to coordinate vaccination appointments to ensure completion of the vaccine Set up phone and text reminders for the family in their preferred language for these appointments. Schedule/reschedule vaccination appointments as needed Personally call families to reschedule appointments Attend and present reports on team meetings. Develop database. Maintain accurate records of all families approached and number of vaccines received Oversee all data entry and assure its integrity. Accurately update all databases regarding patients on daily basis. Reconcile inconsistencies or illogical data values in the analyses database. Work on the preparation of quarterly and annual progress reports to CPRIT.

Work Schedule

Must be willing to work in Beaumont and Orange.

Preferred Language

Seeking an individual with strong Spanish and English speaking skills.
